Procedures and mandates for IEP development
Part 1 features lesson objectives, instructional alignment, and assessment for learning. Part 2 covers planning components of direct instruction, checks for understanding, scaffolding, and gradual release of responsibility. Differentiated instruction describes benefits and methods to differentiate instruction to meet learner needs. Finally, Formative Assessment includes strategies and examples of formative assessment, including two digital tools.
Technology Integration Part 1 includes Universal Design for Learning and the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) Framework. Technology Integration Part 2 covers assistive technology and considerations for integration into the curriculum
