Timeline: Pre-requisite coursework (as needed) must be completed at community college partner by August 2022; Cohort will begin Illinois State University coursework August 2022 (3 year plan of study includes student teaching)
Students will complete bachelor’s degree and Professional Educator License in Elementary Education (grades 1-6) with English as a Second Language endorsement
Schedule designed for working professionals and non-traditional students
Illinois State University coursework is part-time and hybrid with face to face instruction held on campus during limited Saturday sessions

Eligibility
Prior to August 2022, candidates must have completed an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, including pre-requisite courses necessary to begin the Illinois State elementary education program.
