When: Monday, March 23 - Wednesday, March 25, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: Schroeder Plaza
About: The Deaf Redbirds Association will be spreading the word about deafness and deaf culture on campus.

American Sign Language 3 (ASL 3) & Deaf Redbirds Association (DRA) Flashmob
When: Monday, March 23, 3:20 p.m. & Wednesday, March 25, 3:20 p.m.
Where: Schroeder Plaza
About: The ASL 3 and DRA student organizations will sign some sweet songs for the Illinois State University community!
Communication Panel
When: Thursday, March 26, 6 p.m.
Where: State Farm Hall of Business, Caterpillar Room
About: Not all individuals in the deaf and hard of hearing community communicate using the same modes. Five deaf and/or hard of hearing individuals will talk about the different ways they communicate, including: American Sign Language, total communication, listening and spoken language, tactile sign, and cued speech. This is a great opportunity for future special and general educators alike to gain a better understanding of the several different modes their students will use to engage in learning and communication in the classroom.
Silent Dinner Night
When: Friday, March 27, 5 p.m.
Where: Noodles and Company (609 S Main St., Normal)
About: Join the Deaf Redbirds Association and the Bloomington-Normal Deaf Club for a night of awesome conversation in American Sign Language and to put a top on Deaf Awareness Week!
