Director of Special Education (DOSE) and Principal Preparation M.S.
The combination principal preparation-director of special education (DOSE) master’s degree is a 42 credit hour program that leads to principal endorsement and contains the requirements for DOSE coursework. Students must take and pass state licensure tests as well. The program culminates with an internship experience where students are paired with a principal/administrator with a special education background. Graduates of this program are prepared for a range of leadership positions in Illinois schools.
Students will start in the fall of 2024 and finish at the end of the fall semester of 2026 (2.5 years).
