Academic Advising
To stay on track for graduation, we encourage you to review your plan of study with an advisor at least once a semester.
These advisors serve undergraduate students who have earned a minimum of 24 credit hours and who are declared majors. All other students are advised by University College Academic Advisement.
Mandatory Student Meetings
- Transfer Meeting - First semester transfer students, held early in the semester
- Transition Meeting - Special Education majors, in the spring of freshman year or the fall of sophomore year
- Reinvent Your Readiness Session - Students enrolled in SED 206
Appointments
When scheduling an advising appointment, students will be required to select their preferred appointment modality, either in person or via Zoom. In person advising appointments are located in DeGarmo 56, the Cecilia J. Lauby Teacher Education Center. Please schedule an appointment with the advisor that corresponds with your last name as seen below:
