Drs. Sonia Kline and Grace Kang have co-authored several articles on teacher candidates in the writing methods classroom, are working on a book about bridging the gap between critical theory and pedagogical practice in writing instruction, and have applied for a Small Research Grant on Education from the Spencer Foundation to collaborate with teacher educators and kindergarten–sixth grade writing teachers around the United States.
