Tutoring at the Borg Center for Reading and Literacy is designed to support learners who experience difficulty with reading and/or writing. Our tutors conduct assessments and design individualized instructional plans for each tutoring session. We provide direct instruction on literacy skills with plenty of time in each session to apply new skills in authentic reading and writing contexts using materials connected to grade level curriculum.
Our Spring program will run from the week of January 24, 2022 through the week of April 18, 2022 with the exception of the week of March 7, 2022 which is ISUs Spring break. Tutors will meet with students once weekly for a total of 12 sessions.
The cost to participate in our Spring tutoring program is $240.00.
If you are interested in registering your child for tutoring, you can complete a registration form. Once registered, you will be contacted by a tutor to schedule Spring sessions.
