Tutoring at the Borg Center for Reading and Literacy is designed to support learners who experience difficulty with reading, spelling, and/or writing. Our tutors conduct assessments and design individualized instructional plans for each tutoring session. We provide direct instruction on literacy skills with plenty of time in each session to apply new skills in authentic reading and writing contexts using materials connected to relevant grade level curriculum.
Our Fall program will run for 12 weeks beginning on August 29, 2022 and ending on November 17, 2022 (due to Monday holidays, students who have tutoring sessions on Mondays will have their final session on November 29). Tutors will meet with students once weekly for a total of 12 sessions.
The cost to participate in our Fall tutoring program is $240.00.
The Fall 2022 tutoring program is full.
