Individuals may purchase a membership to use campus recreational facilities during scheduled hours. Groups may arrange to use gymnasiums or swimming pools, but they must complete facilities request forms and pay facility-user fees. The Facility Coordinator should be contacted for details.
B. Adventure, http://campusrecreation.illinoisstate.edu/adventure/
The Adventure Program sponsors trips and retreats for Illinois State employees and students. Activities include caving, biking, hiking, camping, and rafting trips. Equipment is provided for University-sponsored trips and can also be rented at low rates for personal use. The Outdoor Adventure Center of Recreation Services should be contacted for details about trips and equipment rental.

Employees can use the Illinois State Golf Course by paying green fees, buying season tickets, or by purchasing permits. Clubs are available to rent at the pro shop.

The Bowling and Billiards Center offers recreational, league, and tournament bowling and billiards.
E. Sports Clubs
Call the Campus Recreation office for information on the sports clubs available to employees.

Season tickets for some Illinois State athletic events are available to employees at a reduced price. Individual game tickets cost the same as those for the general public. The Ticket Office should be contacted for additional details.
B. Capen Cinema
Capen shows classic and recent-release movies weekly.
C. Entertainment Committee
The Entertainment Committee presents major concerts, plays, and musical productions. The Braden Auditorium Box Office should be contacted for a current schedule of events and ticket prices, or check out their web site at http://bonestudentcenter.illinoisstate.edu/braden/
D. LaRitz Entertainment Organization
LaRitz sponsors jazz, blues, and soul entertainment activities.
E. New Friends of Old-Time Music
New Friends of Old-Time Music sponsors folk and bluegrass performances at ISU.
F. University Forum Committee
The University Forum Committee sponsors well-known speakers who address entertaining, educational, or news-worthy topics.
A. Concert Halls
Braden Auditorum is a major hall for symphonies, operas, and national touring productions;
Kemp Recital Hall is a small hall for concerts by students, faculty, and touring artists; and

Ewing Manor, at Towanda and Emerson in Bloomington, is owned and operated by the Illinois State Foundation. It contains a Cultural Center available to campus and community groups and an international museum. The Manor is a French Norman structure with extensive grounds. Information about reservations may be obtained by calling the Ewing Manor supervisor.
C. Friends of the Arts
The Friends of the Arts is a community group that provides scholarships for qualified art, music, and theatre students.
D. Friends of Milner Library
The Friends of Milner Library is a community group that provides and solicits support for Milner Library.
E. Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Ewing Manor, http://thefestival.org/
The Illinois Shakespeare Festival features three of Shakespeare’s plays in repertoire every summer and chamber music concerts are presented every Monday during the festival. The Illinois Shakespeare Society, Center for the Visual Arts, is a community and regional group that provides patron support to the Illinois Shakespeare Society.
F. Theatres, Centennial Building
Westhoff Theatre is the main theatre for student productions;
Allen Theatre is a small theatre for alternative student works. Ticket information for both theatres is available at the Ticket Office, Centennial East 115.

The University Galleries host exhibitions of Illinois State faculty, student, and alumni work as well as public exhibitions. The University Galleries consist of three galleries located in the Center for Visual Arts.
