Update for 2022
The 2022 Grapevine report on state fiscal support for higher education will be published through the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO). The anticipated schedule for the release of this data will be the first quarter of 2022, aligning with the schedule of previous reports. Users of the report will be able to find the latest data on SHEEO’s State Higher Education Finance (SHEF) website at https://shef.sheeo.org/.
Since 2010, SHEEO has facilitated the Grapevine data collection and partnered with Illinois State University in its release. This relationship will continue moving forward, with SHEEO heading data collection, compilation, and publication efforts while Illinois Statestaff serve in a supporting role. Illinois state will revisit its leadership capacity for the Grapevine report following a search for a full-time editor.
The partnership would like to thank Grapevine’s interim editor, Dr. Jim Applegate, for his service in the role, which coincided with the beginning of the pandemic.
